I'm reaching out to my Italian friends here for some help! I own a Supermagnum, and I'm facing an ongoing issue with water leaks. Initially, I suspected the exhaust valve was the culprit. To address this, I thoroughly cleaned the muffler and carburetor, and went ahead to replace the exhaust valve.
Despite these efforts, the problem persisted. Water continued to leak into the carburetor and muffler. I also dismantled and inspected the starter system. To my dismay, I discovered signs of rust and water leakage around the electronic ignition system, indicating it had become slightly rusty.
Believing that the water might be infiltrating through the starter box and affecting the electronic ignition and muffler, I cleaned the carburetor again (which had water in it) and applied grease to the O-Ring of the starter box. The engine ran smoothly on dry land. To further test it, I placed the Aquascooter in a bucket of water for a few hours. Unfortunately, the water leak issue reappeared, and when I disassembled the starter system, a significant amount of water poured out from the electronic ignition area.
I bought this AQ 1.5 years ago, and I'm at a loss about what to do next. Does anyone have any advice or suggestions on how to fix this problem?
I tested the tank and cups it all seems to be okey! Also tried to blow air in the snorkel to find any leaks but the bubbles came only from the exhaust,
